Shakeology


Shakeology has played a huge role in my weight loss. The biggest benefit, as I see it, is that it curbs my cravings for those sweet treats. I drink a shake every morning for breakfast. Since I workout at 5am, I can hardly wait to get my shake. It gives me energy . It keeps me full until lunch, though I usually eat a small snack (nuts, fruit, vegetables, etc.) since I try to eat every 2-3 hours. And most of all, it tastes great!

Additional benefits I've seen from Shakeology are increased energy and a stronger immune system. I am a teacher and I usually spend most of the fall/winter fighting off colds and sometimes strep and/or the flu. It always starts the same way, with a sore throat in the evening, and then I wake up feeling horrible the next day. Shakeology is pretty much the vitamin of all vitamins and has a whopping 180mg of vitamin C (300% of my daily need).

Chocolate Nutter Butter
1/2 c unsweetened vanilla almond milk
3/4 c water
1 orange container PB2 powder (or 2 tsp peanut butter)
1/2 banana
1 scoop chocolate vegan shakeology
8 ice cubes
blend
